How we handle personal data.
This page describes how personal data is processed when you contact ARKTEC via the contact form, by email or by phone.
Noord Mind AB, Corporate ID no. 559523-7511, is the data controller for the processing of personal data on arktec.se. ARKTEC is the brand under which the services are offered. Questions about personal data should be sent to hello@arktec.se.
Via the contact form: name and email address and, if you choose to provide them, phone number, role, company, site or location, number of measurement points, manufacturer and model, type of enquiry and your message. When you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide yourself.
When you submit the form, the data is received and stored in the website’s form service at Netlify. At the same time, a notification with the enquiry is sent to hello@arktec.se, where it is handled in our email system. Contact details and information about the enquiry may then be entered in our customer register (CRM) at Attio.
The data is used to receive, assess and answer your enquiry and to manage any future or existing customer relationship.
When you contact us with an ordinary enquiry, we process the data on the basis of legitimate interest: we have a reasonable interest in being able to reply to you, and we use only the data needed for that. If the enquiry concerns a quotation, steps you have requested prior to entering into a contract, or an existing customer relationship, the processing is instead based on the performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract.
For enquiries that do not lead to an ongoing customer relationship, personal data is normally kept for no longer than 12 months after the last meaningful contact. This applies to the form service, our email and our customer register, which are reviewed and cleared regularly. If the enquiry leads to a customer relationship, relevant data may be kept for as long as needed for the customer relationship and to meet legal obligations.
Netlify — hosting and delivery of the website and handling of the contact form. Cloudflare and Leadfeeder — web analytics. Microsoft — email service (Microsoft 365) for hello@arktec.se. Attio — customer register (CRM) for contact details and enquiries. The providers process the data on our behalf and according to our instructions.
Netlify is a US company, so data may be processed outside the EU/EEA. Netlify states that such transfers are protected by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and that the company is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Microsoft states the same for Microsoft 365. Attio is a UK company that may also store data outside the EU/EEA; such transfers are governed by Attio’s data processing agreement.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to obtain aggregated information about how the website is used and how it performs technically. The service is used without cookies or local storage for analytics purposes and is not intended for individual profiling or advertising. No data from the contact form is included.
We also use Leadfeeder to see which organisations visit the website, based on IP address and pages visited. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in following up interest in our services. The service is not used to identify individuals. Visit data is kept for no longer than 12 months. You can object to the processing by contacting us.
The website sets no cookies and stores no identifiers in your browser. Fonts and other files are served from the website’s own server, with the exception of the analytics scripts from Cloudflare and Leadfeeder.
You have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, to request restriction and to object to the processing. Contact us at hello@arktec.se. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
